Progress continues on the stucco mesh project. This is such painstaking work. The edges of windows and doors and all along the roof line get metal lath tacked up and then the stucco mesh is placed on the walls. I know I’ve said this before, so I’m just repeating it in case you have forgotten…
They are busy installing doors inside the house so I stay outside today. And I notice the front door and the craftsmanship it took to create it. All of these doors are made by hand and to order. They are solid and beautiful and will grow more beautiful as they age. I wish I could say that about myself!
The sand used to make the stucco is delivered by Steve today in his big truck. The stucco project will be the final big project on the exterior of the house. Then the outside will be DONE.
We walked the old walk again today. Made it down to the pond scum water trough and sat under the juniper tree. It was hot but it was great to be outside under blue skies and cotton ball clouds! And we came across a couple of interesting visitors, too…
